I was asked if I would take head shots by my fellow colleagues who train and continue to develop their craft and who are a constant inspiration to me.

As an photographic artist, to me head shots should represent the true image of the person, not the “flat” head shots that usually comes from the over editing ,an edit that transform a face into one with no facial expression, a ” plastic “, what I use to call, the image. I am not a fan of it.

As an artist, I must stay true to myself and fallow the feeling that I get when you are in the front of me.I want to capture your natural state ,the one that you have when you are alone, by yourself, when you do not need to please or to be approved. With me you do not need to do anything, but be yourself and enjoy the experience. The camera is just there to record a moment, nothing else.

You are enough, as a human you are invested already with everything, you do not need to “do” something for my pictures.

“Head shots are, at best, just a source of contact information for actors in more or less the right age range. What makes an actor right is the proper match of their interior dimensions, not their exterior appearance. Therefore, I love portraits which showcase our inner self.” Camille Landau and Tiare White
